Hi I am a mom of a 4 year old and soon to be newborn in May. I’m an urban planner and work from home. With my husband mostly stuck on a job site in another country we need to find reliable help for me for 2 children.

Hi everyone. I’m looking for a long term trustworthy and reliable nanny (at least a year) to help us get through a difficult period. I live with our 4 year old daughter in Amsterdam centrum oost and am also 8 months pregnant. My husband works in another country currently so I’m going to be navigating the infant phase mostly on my own. Trying to be realistic with myself about how much I can handle but I think I would need someone the majority of the day at least Monday to Friday. Looking for someone who really truly loves being with newborns and infants, as well as with a 4 year old. We’d want you to feel like a part of the family. I’d need help with food prep, laundry, pick up and drop off with the bakfiets, some after school entertainment for the 4 year old, and also to help take care of the newborn during the day. Mostly I’m also worried about getting sick with whatever the 4 year old brings home from school and the baby getting sick as well. So you’d have to help us prevent that as much as possible and to really help out when it inevitably still happens.
Prefer someone trained in CPR and first aid. Our 4 year old speaks English, Dutch, Russian, and some Swedish so any of these is a plus. I want to prevent going into postpartum depression and really need as much help as possible to get used to our new normal with 2 children. Really want to find the right person who can commit for at least a year and be a familiar face and part of the family.
And unfortunately we have only a two bedroom apartment so we don’t have the space for a live in.
