Family's Introduction to Au Pair
Job Description
We are a warm and friendly family living in Tres Cantos, a safe and pleasant town just outside Madrid, and we are looking for a kind and responsible German-speaking au pair to join our home.
We have a wonderful little boy who is 2.5 years old. He is curious, happy, and full of energy. Our main goal is for him to start learning German naturally through daily interaction, play, songs, and simple conversations with you. We believe the best way to learn a language at this age is through fun and connection.
We are a normal, easygoing family who values kindness, respect, and good communication. We want our au pair to feel comfortable and part of the family, not just someone helping with childcare. We offer a warm environment, flexibility, and a supportive atmosphere where you can enjoy your time in Spain.
Your main responsibility will be spending time with our son, playing with him, speaking German with him, and helping with simple daily routines. We are not looking for heavy housework – just small help related to the child when needed.
Tres Cantos is a beautiful and very safe town with parks, cafés, sports facilities, and excellent public transport connections to Madrid (about 20 minutes by train). It is a great place for au pairs because you can enjoy both a quiet lifestyle and easy access to the city.
We offer comfortable accommodation, meals with the family, pocket money, and flexibility so you can explore Madrid, meet other au pairs, or take Spanish classes if you wish.
We are looking for a German-speaking girl between 18 and 25 who enjoys spending time with young children, is responsible, and would like to experience Spanish family life. Previous childcare experience is welcome but not essential if you are caring, patient, and positive.
