Thank you for taking the time to read our profile. We are a Polish–Spanish family living in Barcelona with our 16-month-old son, and we are looking for a friendly and responsible au pair who would like to spend some time with our family and help us in everyday life.

We are mainly looking for someone who enjoys spending time with young children and who would like to experience living in Barcelona. The help we need is moderate and flexible, and many details can be discussed together so that the arrangement works well for everyone.

We are a Polish–Spanish family living in Barcelona with our 16-month-old son. We are looking for a friendly, responsible au pair who would like to spend some time with our family and help us in everyday life.

The main task will be helping with our son: playing with him, watching him and sometimes helping during meals. Our child does not attend nursery at the moment, so some time during the day will be spent with him while we take care of other tasks.

We would also appreciate light help around the house. This may include simple tasks such as preparing the main meal of the day, doing laundry, helping with dishes (we have a dishwasher) and helping keep the house clean and organised.

On average we expect around three hours of help per day. Some days we may not need help, while on other days it could be slightly more, up to around five hours. Help is mainly needed during weekdays, and weekends are usually free. Tasks and schedules can be discussed and arranged together so that they work well for everyone.

In return, we offer accommodation in a comfortable apartment of about 100 m² in the Les Corts neighbourhood of Barcelona, a calm and pleasant area of the city. The au pair will have a private room. The apartment has two bathrooms, and depending on the arrangement, one of them may be mainly used by the au pair.

Meals can be shared with the family. The area is well connected: the apartment is about a 10-minute walk from Barcelona Sants station, the main train station in the city, with direct connections to many parts of Barcelona and to the airport. There are also supermarkets, parks, gyms and public transport nearby.

Barcelona is an international city where Spanish is the most widely spoken language, and there are many language schools available for those who want to study Spanish. We speak several languages at home (Spanish, Polish, French and English), which can also make the stay interesting from a cultural and language perspective.

We believe that good communication and flexibility are the most important things. Many aspects of daily life can be discussed and arranged together so that everyone feels comfortable and enjoys the experience.
