About our family
We are a young, warm, and dynamic family living in beautiful New Caledonia. We are both 37 years old and parents of two lovely boys, aged 6 years and 8 months. Our family is a mix of cultures—Dad was born in La Réunion and grew up in France, and Mom is originally from Vietnam. We have been living in New Caledonia since 2013, where we run our own restaurant and are currently opening a second one.
Our life is quite active because of our work, but at home we love to keep a relaxed, friendly, and positive atmosphere. We enjoy simple moments together, family meals, outdoor activities, and spending time with the kids.
We live in a large house with a beautiful sea view, a swimming pool, and a small garden. It’s a comfortable and pleasant place to live, perfect for enjoying the tropical climate. We have two cars and some motorcycles, and there is everything needed for daily life nearby. We don’t have pets and prefer to keep the house calm and clean.
We are looking for an au pair who will feel at home with us, become part of our daily life, and share this warm family environment while discovering the island and its amazing nature.

Au Pair Duties
We are looking for a responsible and caring au pair who is comfortable driving and enjoys an active family life.
Your main role will be to help with our two boys’ daily routine. This includes waking up before the children, helping them get ready in the morning, preparing breakfast, dressing them, and driving them to daycare and school. During the afternoon, you will pick them up, help our 6-year-old with homework, prepare snacks, play with them, and take care of bath time and the evening routine.
You will also need to drive the children to different sports or cultural activities when needed, and occasionally help us with small errands or grocery shopping.
We expect light household help to keep the home tidy and organized, but we already have a cleaner who comes once a week for the main housework.
Usually, Sundays will be your day off.
We would love to welcome someone who enjoys nature and outdoor activities. We hope to find an au pair who is happy to take the children outside—whether it’s going to the beach, the river, hiking, exploring, or even joining us on small camping trips.
We are looking for someone positive, independent, and active, who truly enjoys spending time with children.
