Hello! I’m Nathalie, and I live in the heart of Rome (Monti) with my delightful 3-year-old son. We are looking for a responsible, kind, and fun-loving au pair to join our family starting this summer.
We already have a part-time nanny who helps with housekeeping and afternoons, but I need someone who can help mainly with mornings, evenings, some babysitting, and travel. If you’re independent, love children, and are happy to become part of our busy, creative little family, this might be a great fit for you.

? Where We Live
We’re based in central Rome, just a 5-minute walk from the Colosseum. You’ll have your own private bedroom and share a bathroom only with my son. The Monti neighbourhood is lively, full of cafés, culture, and young people — a wonderful place to live and explore.

I’m a film and commercials director, so I travel quite often. Occasionally, I may need to bring you with me on shoots (in the UK, US, or Europe), which can be a unique experience — especially if you’re interested in the film world!

Job Description
Your main job is to help look after my son and be a warm, reliable presence in his life. Responsibilities include:
• Getting him ready for nursery in the mornings (dressed, breakfast, etc.)
• Taking him to or picking him up from nursery (if needed)
• Playing with him, reading stories, going to the park
• Preparing his supper, helping with bath time, and babysitting
• Keeping your room tidy and being respectful of shared spaces
• Being available to travel occasionally (Italy & abroad)
• Taking initiative — I really value someone proactive and confident
? Weekly Schedule
July & From September Onward:
• 7:00 AM: Wake up & help with morning routine
• Daytime: Free while he’s at nursery (nanny takes over at 15:30)
• Evenings (5 nights/week): Babysitting from 19:30 — putting him to bed
• Nights Off: You’ll have 2 nights off per week, though not guaranteed to be weekends
• 1 guaranteed morning off for a lie-in
• Occasional weekend help (every other weekend, his father is with him)
August:
We’ll be traveling around Italy (seaside & countryside) and I’ll need more flexible support during the day and evenings.
