Job Description
We are a Greek family living in Brussels seeking a compassionate and responsible caregiver/companion to support our 18-year-old son, Raphael, who is on the autism spectrum. He developed selective mutism last year but he is very communicative and joyful man he also communicates through gestures and body language. He needs daily guidance, patience, and structured support to feel safe and comfortable.
Duties include:
Providing daily personal care, program, support, and companionship. Accompany him to university as well.
Assisting with meals, routines, and light household tasks related to his care.
Accompanying him on walks, activities, and safe transportation when required.
Creating a calm, structured, and positive environment at home.
Collaborating with parents and respecting established routines/therapies.
Being present on weekdays and weekends (schedule to be agreed together).
What we are looking for:
Experience with autism, special needs, or caregiving is highly valued.
Patient, calm, and caring personality.
Clear communication skills; Greek or English language preferred.
Reliability and commitment to building trust with our son and family.
