Dear Au Pair,

Our daughter enjoys extracurricular activities such as jiu-jitsu, and skateboarding. She is an intelligent, outgoing and responsible seven-year-old girl.

Due to the requirement of our daughter's school, it is necessary for the Au Pair to have skills in both Portuguese (or Spanish) and English and a third language, such as French, German or Russian. Other third languages may be considered.

Likewise, our family is very travelling and therefore we need the support of someone with the will and facility to travel normally between the following countries: Angola, Portugal, England and China, due to the work required of parents. Hence the opening of this position is urgent and with an immediate start.

Our family lives in Talatona, a quiet (suburban) area of the capital, Luanda. We offer two annual vacations, as well as initial travel support to Angola.

You shall be taking care of my younger sister 7 years old

This includes care before and after school, homework, languages, mathematics, chaperoning to activities such as jiu-jitsu, a careful eye for nutrition and overall well being.

While the child is as school, we do not expect you to do any house chores as there are people hired for this.

However, we would like you to have a supervisor role of the other staff members of the house. For example: making sure things are a cleaned properly by the other staff, logistics with laundry and dinners (making sure things are coordinated and in order)
Acting as a ‘governess’

All legal aspects of the job application eg. Visas, contract, health insurance will be discussed on a meeting with the head of HR of the family
