We are a bilingual Russian-American family of four living in the US, and we are excited to find an au pair to become a part of our home. Our family includes myself, my husband, and our two wonderful boys, aged 12 and 15. Both boys are independent, largely self-sufficient, and fluent in English.
As parents, our work schedules sometimes require availability on weekends and during late evenings. Combined with my husband's frequent travel for work, we are looking for reliable and caring support. A very important part of our family life is preserving our Russian culture, and we would be thrilled to share this with an au pair who brings enthusiasm and interest to this aspect of our lives.
Your primary responsibilities would include:
- Helping the boys get ready and sending them off to school in the morning
- Preparing meals for the family
- Meeting our youngest after school and assisting him with his homework
- Driving the children to their after-school activities and appointments
Above all, we are looking for an energetic and cheerful person who genuinely loves spending time with kids. The ideal relationship would be that of an older sibling - someone to play games with, talk to, and be a positive, supportive presence in their lives.
