Dear Au Pair,
We’re glad to meet you! Our family includes us parents, Priyam and Kanishka, and our 4-year-old son, Zayn, 1-year-old daughter, Alarah and 5-year-old goldendoodle dog, Murphy. Priyam is a clinical psychologist who has her own private practice and Kanishka works in finance. We live in the Upper West Side in Manhattan, NYC, steps away from Central Park. We are fortunate to have a spacious home with a backyard. We love trying out new restaurants and spending time in the parks and exploring New York City. Zayn is a very verbal toddler – you'd almost think he is a teenager when you hear him speak! He is funny, usually good-tempered, and sometimes mischievous! He loves trains, planes and building things. He is a great traveler as well. He goes to school 5 days a week from 8 am to 2.30 pm just down the block from home. Alarah is also very verbal for her age, and is very interactive. She loves music and enjoys playing with a range of things. Our dog, Murphy, is a big ball of love. He is very friendly, playful and acts like a puppy, though he is 5! As a family, we enjoy spending a lot of time together, playing, listening to music, spending time with friends, as well as exploring the city and various culinary delights. We are fortunate to have a great group of friends and “chosen family” in NYC and we are enjoying reconnecting with people after the isolation of the early pandemic.
