Overall, we are looking for an au pair who truly wants to be here - someone who will be happy to be working with our family and spending their time with our kids/living with us. Living with other people can certainly be uncomfortable so we would really want someone who is warm, kind, open, and communicative. As busy as both of us are with our professional commitments, we want to make sure that our children are under the care of someone who is as equally invested in their development as we are. We want someone who will actively engage with them every day and not just set them in front of the tv screen/iPad screen. We do not want someone to just "watch" our kids; we want someone to help them grow and teach them valuable lessons. It is absolutely crucial for us to have someone who is honest, dependable, responsible, and accountable. We are not looking to take care of someone else; we would like someone who is self-sufficient and can help us as a family of 5 - someone who can help bring balance and stability within our home. We also want you to enjoy your time here, and we will always make sure to give you the time to explore the area we live and the USA as you would like!

Hello! We are the family - Dave, Kristina, Ethan (5), Isabelle (1.5), and baby #3 will join us at the end of March/early April 2021. Our children are both very sweet and loving - they truly love being with others and naturally gravitate towards caregivers with the same disposition - warm, happy, and loving! Ethan and Isabelle are both very active and LOVE to dance. They are definitely performers at heart. :)

We both work full-time from home, but we do sometimes have to travel for our jobs. I work as a program manager consultant for a pharmaceutical company, and Dave owns his own business and also serves in the US Army Reserves.

We have always thought of our children's caregivers as an extension of our own family. We invest a lot of our time and effort in making sure someone is the right fit for us, and once we have them working with us, we want to make sure they are happy. We view it as a long-term relationship, where we try to add value to our caregiver's life and her family's life as well. We have personal references of our previous caregivers that we are happy to provide.
