Hello our future AuPair! We are happy and welcoming family of four (to be 5 next year if all is good!) living in Chicago suburbs. We have 3 years experience hosting au pairs and absolutely loved the experience! We have three sweet little girls (Vaska is 5.5, Ksenija is 4 - both go to school full time, Sasha is 2.5, we are expecting a baby boy early Fall 2023, and we have two really cool cats. In normal time I(mom) work in the city 2-3 days a week and the rest of the days from home and my husband works most days from home.
We are very happy, respectful, easy going and well put together family with sense of humor, we would like to welcome you to our family! We honestly hope that we can find somebody that will become member of our family, a dear friend and not just a nanny, and we can just do better together. We were very lucky in the past with two of our Au Pairs, we built life long relationships and found true friends, We will encourage you to explore America, encourage you to find a good school and take some real classes, and maybe even take a real admission test (it will be eye opening, trust me!), and just helping to understand how things work here. We will be open to you and want you to be the same to us, tell us if you need something, don’t be shy. We want you to thrive for a year (or two?) while you are with us.
Girls are very sweet and playful, they are well behaved and get along super well. They have established routine and it makes it much easier to handle a day. Oldest girls will be in school full time starting Fall 2023.
We live about 30 mins away from Chicago downtown (you can get there by train), we have extra car that you can use as long as you are confident driver. There are plenty of things around, you can get to stores and mall by bike, if you don’t drive. There are many parks, biggest regional zoo (7 mins away), forest preserve trail (5 min walk), botanic garden, lakes and many more within 15-20 mins of drive.

We need help to raise and develop our three little girls and our one boy. This includes doing things like feeding them, playing with them, taking them to fun places (parks, zoo, bike rides, stores and etc), doing some arts and crafts, teaching them, reading and just trying to contribute to their development and help them to explore this world. We would appreciate if you could help with light housekeeping work, nothing major just keep it clean after kids play. If you like to cook, great, if not, great too maybe we can shed some pounds :). This position is about kids. We are looking for somebody active and enthusiastic who would sincerely care for kids and do as much fun activities with them as possible (fun for you and fun for them).
