Thank you for your interest in becoming an au pair with our family! We’re excited to share a little about ourselves and what you can expect during your time with us.

We are a close-knit, easygoing family based in Jacksonville, NC. My name is Daiana, and I work from home as a Transition Specialist. My husband, Alexander, is an active-duty Marine, and he’s often out and about on various assignments. We are both passionate about creating a warm, nurturing environment at home, where simplicity and comfort come first. We love spending time together, especially outdoors, but also enjoy cozy moments at home.

Our daughter, Rose, is a lively and curious 2-year-old. She loves playing with her toys, reading stories, and learning new things every day. She is our little sunshine, and we’re looking for someone who will help care for her, engage her in fun activities, and support us in maintaining a balanced routine. Rose is a friendly and social child who enjoys interacting with new people, and we’re excited for you to become a part of her world.

We’re a pretty relaxed family and enjoy spending time together in the simple moments. We don’t have a lot of extra activities in our routine, and we tend to keep things low-key. However, we do value time spent outdoors, whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood or trips to the park. We’re hoping that you’ll be comfortable with this kind of lifestyle and that you’ll enjoy the opportunity to experience life in our small town.

In terms of your role with us, we’re looking for an au pair who can help with Rose’s daily routine, preparing her meals, helping with her toys and clothes, and ensuring she stays engaged without too much screen time. While we don’t have a strict schedule, we appreciate a helping hand in the mornings and evenings, as Alexander and I both work outside the home.

You’ll have your own private room and will be included in our meals and family activities. About Us:

Responsibilities:

Childcare Support: Assist with daily routines for Rose, including preparing her meals, ensuring she stays engaged, and helping with her toys and clothing.

Light Housework: Help keep Rose’s play area and belongings organized and clean.

Supervision: Ensure that Rose’s screen time is limited and that she engages in healthy, enriching activities.

Transportation Assistance: Help with occasional transportation to local activities or appointments.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Morning: Help with getting Rose ready for the day and preparing breakfast.

Afternoon: Assist with her naps, snacks, and playtime.

Evenings: Assist with dinner preparations, getting Rose ready for bed, and light evening routines.

Requirements:

Prior childcare experience, preferably with toddlers.

Friendly, energetic, and patient personality.

Strong communication skills in English.

Willingness to help with light housework and keeping things tidy.

Ability to work well in a family environment, with a focus on teamwork.
