Both parents in our family work full-time in careers we’re passionate about, so having a kind, engaged, and energetic au pair is a crucial part of making our home life run smoothly. Our children are bright, curious, and full of life—they love exploring, playing outdoors, creating, and learning. We’re looking for someone who can be both a gentle guide and a fun companion to them, helping support their routines, encouraging their growth, and bringing fresh energy and ideas into their daily experiences.

We believe in a well-rounded approach to childcare, where both structure and creativity have a place. While routines help create stability for the kids, we also love seeing them engage in imaginative play, hands-on activities, and meaningful conversations. We encourage outdoor time, reading, art, and exploration—and we’d love for you to share your own culture, language, and interests with them, too.

Our home is located in a safe and friendly neighborhood with many parks, cafes, shops, and cultural sites nearby. It’s a great place to connect with others, enjoy nature, and discover new experiences. You’ll have your own space for privacy and relaxation, and we want you to feel truly welcome and valued here. The Household

The au pair’s typical responsibilities with our family will center around providing consistent, nurturing, and engaging care for our two children during the workweek. Both adults in the household work full-time, generally starting early in the morning and continuing through to dinner time. Because of this, we are looking for someone who can help create a warm, supportive environment for the girls during those hours when we are unavailable.

Your day would typically begin when the children wake up in the morning. You’ll help them start their day with a healthy breakfast and get them ready for the day ahead. Throughout the day, your focus will be on offering attentive care, helping them explore the world around them, and encouraging their development through play, learning, and creativity.

We are intentional about minimizing screen time, so instead, we encourage lots of hands-on and imaginative activities—board games, books, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and age-appropriate educational exercises. We have learning materials on hand that we’ve been consistently using with the girls, and we would love for those routines to be continued during your time with us.

Lunch is kept simple in our home—usually leftovers from the large meals we prepare at dinner—which makes the day easier and more manageable. We are always happy to hear your input and ideas for snacks or fun food projects, especially if you’d like to share something from your own culture!

Once our workday ends, we take over and encourage you to use your time however you wish—whether that’s relaxing in your room, going out, or connecting with other au pairs or friends nearby. We deeply value the balance between care and personal time and want to make sure you feel both supported and respected while you’re here.
