We are excited to welcome you to Austin, TX and our home! Austin is a wonderful city with so much to do. Jeremy and I welcomed our first child, Emily Edna Johnson, she is already 15 months old now!

We love having an au pair and are excited to meet you. We love having someone live here that is flexible during the day to help.
Dear Future Au Pair,

Emily is so fun, and loves to laugh and you can talk to her all day long about whatever you want:) She is a dream to be around! She is really starting to talk now so can tell you what she needs, it's amazing to watch the transformation in her! She's a very smart little girl.

Jeremy and I got married four year ago, at 38 years old, we are so happy to have finally found love! We are so excited Emily is here, I am just over the moon happy and love to spend time with her! I was nervous being an older Mom but it's been wonderful, I think I'm pretty easy going about Emily.

I recently starting working more at our business for my husband.

Jeremy & I like to spend a lot of time together, so we hope you make some friends so you have someone to hang out with or enjoy reading a book or watching TV on your own as well. We also want you to spend dinner with us but understand if you want to go out with friends.

This city has so much to offer, from the amazing restaurants to outdoor activities you will have plenty to do. We live within a 15 minute drive to Zilker Park, Town Lake, many hiking and biking trails, paddleboarding and we have an awesome pool in the backyard with beautiful views too.

Austin has plenty of live music, Austin City Limits is a big deal in October, church groups, there is wine country around, tons of small towns to visit with tubing on the river, e-scooters and much more!

7.00 AM to 11.45 AM -Wake Smoothie with vitamins Breakfast or snack, Park, Grocery Store, Storytime at the library, whatever y'all want to do that day.

12pm-3pm Emily naps, cook, do her laundry, etc.

Tuesday and Thursday 9am-12:30pm she is at school. I drive her and our au pair picks her up. Then she goes straight down for a nap until 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday.

3pm or 4pm - play again, go to library, eat.

Date nights on Friday once a month or so.

There is an au pair dedicated car, don't abuse the mileage is all we ask. It is an electric car so there is no gas.

We go on a lot of vacations - in the last 5 months we've taken our current au pair to Hawaii, Disney World, Savannah, GA, we have a ranch with a lot of exotic animals, Aspen, CO, we also have a condo that will be finished in March at Horseshoe Bay, 40 minutes from our home.

Austin is a great place to live for young people, there is a huge community of au pairs in our area.
