My name is Morag, and I’m a 22-year-old student from the UK, currently studying Art History and Management at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. I’m hoping to work as an au pair during my summer in a French-speaking country. I’ve always loved spending time with children and, although I don’t have formal childcare experience, I’m eager to learn and confident that my caring, patient, and outgoing nature will help me adapt quickly.
I would describe myself as warm and friendly. I love meeting new people and experiencing new cultures, and I’m really excited about the opportunity to live with a host family and become part of daily life. I previously lived in London and enjoyed the energy of a big city, but I also love the outdoors, I’ve ridden horses since I was small and used to compete in equestrian sports. I also enjoy skiing, playing tennis, visiting museums and galleries, and spending time with friends in cafés or exploring new places.
One of my main motivations for becoming an au pair is to improve my French and immerse myself in the culture. I’m hoping this experience will help me prepare for living abroad after I graduate. I’d love to be able to share my own language and culture in return, helping your children learn English in a fun and natural way.
I hope to find a welcoming family who values open communication and mutual respect. I’m looking forward to helping with childcare, contributing to your household, and becoming part of your everyday life. I see this as a great opportunity to learn, grow, and share experiences together while improving my French and exploring a new culture.

I love travelling and learning about new cultures, and becoming an au pair abroad feels like the perfect way to do both. I hope to live in France after graduation, so improving my French and experiencing the culture firsthand are really important to me. I especially love the South of France and Monaco so these would be my ideal locations, but I’m open to any French-speaking country.
I love sport, I have ridden horses most of my life, I like to ski and play tennis. I enjoy spending time with friends, going to galleries and travelling. I love learning and seeing more of the world, which is why I’m so excited about this experience. After being an au pair, I hope to finish my degree and go on to do a Master’s at the University of Monaco in Sport Business Management I’d love to build a career in the sports industry.
