Hi- I'm Caroline and at 31 perhaps a little older than your normal au-pair! However I am looking for an au-pair position in Paris so that I can learn the language and become involved in the french way of life.
I have a number of years of experience working with children and really enjoy their company. I bring to my work a sense of humour and a dedication to the job. I am hoping to find a family with whom I can build a good relationship and would hope that I can help your children to speak English, just as I'm sure they will teach me to speak French! I have been learning the language for a couple of years and also have friends in Paris so know the city a little bit.
I currently working for a very large organisation in Britain called the National Trust as a House Manager and have a degree in Art History and Social Sciences. I enjoy reading, cooking and gardening at home and visiting museums, the cinema and walking and cycling when out. I also enjoy sports and craft activities which I would love to continue with the children.
I come from a close family-my mother is a teacher and my sister is currently at university.
In describing myself I would say I was responsible and caring, with a sincere interest in children and am out-going and enjoy meeting people. I have lived in a number of different countries so do have experience of adjusting to different cultures.
