I’d like to give a brief information about myself and tell you why
I want to be an au pair and why I think I’d fit in your family.

My name is Ahlal and I am 18 (will be 19 in August) years old. I am Turkish and currently living in Istanbul with my parents my sister and our 3 cats. At the moment I am an English Literature major and a senior in High School with good grades and a high GPA, and I will be graduating in June. For me I think it’s the perfect time to explore and get to know about other cultures and countries.

In my leisure time I swim, I cook, I watch movies and shows and I also try to attend as many courses or conferences as i can attend to improve my language and knowledge in any field I’m intrested in. During last summer I have attended to a 1 month long advanced english course in London. This was my first time travelling to an another country by myself and I believe I handled it pretty good. So I definitely dont think I will face any problems in language case.

When it comes to kids I am very playful and confident in myself in both taking care of them and keeping them active and happy. I have been looking after my 1.5 years old nephew after school as both of his parents are working. I am providing his needs, taking care of him and making sure that he’s having a fun time while he’s with me. Since i have cousins and many family friends that has babies or kids I actually grew up caretaking in general. I can live with pets and provide their needs because I am accustomed to it seeing that we have 3 cats in our house. In case if it’ needed i am capable of cooking and doing light housework.

I want to take my at least 1 year before starting college and experince the life and the lifestyle in the US and I genuinely think that i can be your perfect au pair match because I consider myself an extrovert, a warmhearted, skillfull and an easygoing person. I and adapt to the routine quickly and will be very helpful.

I am really excited to find my host family and start my au pair journey!
