My name is Somjettana . You can call me Muse. Now, I am 26 years old. I live in Nonthaburi which is not so far from Bangkok, Thailand. Nonthaburi is situated in a fertile basin on the bank of the Chao Phraya River, where many fruit and flower plantations are interspersed with a number of historical temples. It is renowned for growing the best durian in the country.

Regarding my education background, I am now a fourth year students at the faculty of Humanities, majoring in English at Ramkhamheang University. I am working as a part-time tutor while studying.I have been working as a private tutor for over 4 years at the same time I have been working as an assistant nanny for 1 and a half years.

My experience working as assistant Nanny at Stul Nursery, ihis nursery is a bilingual nursery. I have been providing care for children 3 months - 3 years old.
My duties
- Feeding children, bathing children & baby, playing with children & baby, putting children & baby to bed, Arts & crafts projects, preparing baby formula & food, bottle-feeding baby, spoon-feeding baby, changing diapers and teaching children.

My experience working as an assistant nanny, I gained a lot of childcare skills. I learned about babies and children's behavior and how to care for them. Safety and healthy are the main point for a caregiver in my opinion. So, I pay attention to practice childcare skills from nursery and always get more knowledge that useful for children's caregiver from various sources. About my experience working as a private tutor, I teach science and mathematics for children 9 - 15 years. There are 1-4 children in each class. My responsibilities are creating lesson plans, homework help, preparing for exams and following grade results from school. In the past 4 years, I provided my tutoring lessons to more than 20 students. I had good relationships with my students and their parents. I feel that I am not just a tutor, I am also their friends and good advisor. We still keep in touch and some of my students’-parents are my childcare reference.

About my experience as a volunteer assistant teacher at Chumchon Ban Hun Mancha Kiri School, I cared for children aged 6-12 years. In 2018 & 2019, I helped teachers to teach, prepare for fun activities with students.

I wanted to be volunteer because I want to use my ability to help others especially children.I believe that education is a beginning point of opportunity, but some children are excluded from the education system because of poverty and inequality. So, I wanted to help them when I have a chance.

It wasn’t easy working and studying at the same time. So, I don't have much free time. But when I have free time I love to cook, garden, read and draw. I can cook many kinds of foods and desserts because I cooked for family since I was young. When I moved to work and study in Bangkok I sometimes cook for myself. I enjoy gardening
I love reading news and general knowledge. It increases knowledge and help me keep up with the world. One of my favorite hobbies is drawing. Art is a one way to practice meditation. It makes me calm and concentrate well. I have many art & craft ideas for your kids.

There are 4 people in my family. My mom, my dad, my brother and me. My mom and my dad were divorced. My mom remarried, so I grew up with my mom and my stepdad. My stepdad provides good care of me. He is the best dad in the world for me. My mom is a housewife, my dad is a retired Mathematics teacher. My brother is a student in university. They support me to apply for an au pair program. They think this is a good opportunity to improve my English skill. Becoming an au pair will benefit with us to our future because I want to open my own nursery in my hometown.
