My name is Sunaree Charoenchiwanon, but you can call me Lisa, which is my nickname. I am 26 years old and come from Chiang Rai, a beautiful northern part of Thailand. I am Hmong and grew up speaking Hmong as my first language, Thai as my second language, and English as my third. I live with my mother and sibling as my father passed away when I was 11, but I have a large and supportive family of eight siblings, five brothers and three sisters. I am a strong and loving person, thanks to my wonderful family. I'm right now live in Roseville, CA and on my rematch process.

For my first host family, I took care of three kids, age 4 and 2 years old and a 9 month-old baby. I am totally fall in love with the kids and they love me very much even I only be there for 2 weeks. I love the time I spent with them and always thanks God that I met them, although it was a short period. The reason I decided to rematch is the expectation between me and the host parent didn't meet. However, I thanks God for the time that I had spent with them. We are still have a good communication and I respect them.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, watching cooking videos on YouTube, and trying out new recipes. I also like going for walks and shopping. After completing high school, I pursued a degree in accounting and had several opportunities to work with children. I used to help a friend take care of her two daughters, who were 3 and 4 years old, every Friday. This experience taught me how to care for children and gave me some of the best memories of my life. I also worked as an English tutor for children during my second year of university. This was my first-time teaching and I was nervous, but I was grateful for the opportunity and the experience it provided me.

I am a Christian and actively involved in my church community, where I have had the chance to organize events for children. One of my favorite events was teaching and managing fun activities for Hmong children during Christmas and Thai Children's Day. Through my church community, I have made international friends from countries such as the US, Korea, China, Burma, and Canada. This has fueled my interest in improving my English skills and making new friendships with people from different cultures.

After graduation, I took a break and worked as a part-time helper for my sister, who has four sons and two twin boys. I helped with feeding the twins, bathing, playing, and sometimes with their homework. Taking care of these little ones was challenging, but I loved every moment because they are adorable. Currently, I work as a consultant at an international accounting firm in Bangkok, but I have a deep passion for caring for children and would love to gain more experience in this field. I believe this au pair program will provide me with a great opportunity to learn about different cultures, languages, and child-rearing systems, which I am very interested in.

I hope to share my experiences with my Hmong community and inspire children there to pursue their dreams. I am also looking forward to improving my English skills and making new relationships with my host family. I am eager to hear from you and am hoping for a great opportunity to gain memories, relationships, and experiences that will last a lifetime. Thank you for considering my application.
