Dear Host Family,
My name Fatou and I am a 20 year old woman from Sweden, and I am very excited about the opportunity to become an au pair and be part of a family abroad. I would describe myself as a calm, caring and responsible person who is used to adapting to new environments and taking responsibility in everyday life.
I have previous experience living and working abroad, and I have also studied French in France. These experiences have helped me become independent, open-minded and reliable, and comfortable communicating with people from different cultures. I have travelled a lot on my own, which has made me very responsible, organised and confident handling new situations.
Even though I do not have formal childcare experience, I am comfortable around children and enjoy spending time with them in everyday situations such as playing, reading, helping with homework, preparing simple meals and being a supportive and attentive presence. I am patient, calm and always take my responsibilities seriously.
I would love to become an au pair because I truly enjoy cultural exchange and everyday family life. I am excited to live in a new environment, learn from another culture and at the same time contribute positively to a family’s daily routines.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking, cooking and baking and traveling. I am respectful of house rules and flexible when it comes to helping where needed.
