Introduction
Dear Family, My name is Calla, I’m 22 years old. I am in the process of getting my drivers license so that soon won’t be a problem! I absolutely adore children and want to study to become a paediatric occupational therapist! Children always make me smile and I always love spending time with them whenever I can as they are full of wonder and magic. I have been an aupair for 2 separate families, one internationally and another one here in Cape Town. These experiences have taught me a lot about responsibility, time management, creativity, patience and overall expanded my love for children. I love being creative whether that is in the kitchen baking or cooking, drawing and painting or going outside and looking at nature and making up stories. Children keep the magic alive and I love keeping it alive in them just as much!
I would make the perfect aupair because I have the experience, patience and temperament for children. I like to be seen to children as a friend and not someone they have to be afraid of or not like. I know how to set boundaries and use discipline when needed. I like to make my time with the kids as fun, educational and active as possible making sure all their chores, homework and anything else is done but they have fun doing it. I’m a big child at heart and being able to bring that magic into a little ones life and keeping it alive as long as possible is what makes me truly happy.
