My name is Lehlogonolo, and I am a warm, responsible, and caring young woman from South Africa. I am currently in my final year of a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Physiology at the University of the Free State. I am very proud of my academic journey, especially as I have almost completed my degree despite having dyslexia, which has taught me resilience, patience, creativity, and perseverance.

I come from a close-knit family and value respect, kindness, and good communication. I enjoy creating a safe, loving, and structured environment where children feel supported and encouraged. Why I would make the perfect au pair

I believe I would make a great au pair because I am dependable, nurturing, and emotionally attentive. My experience working with children through church volunteering, particularly in the baby ministry, has strengthened my ability to care for infants and young children with patience, gentleness, and responsibility. I understand the importance of routines, safety, and emotional reassurance for children.

In addition, my work experience as a waitress in a high-pressure environment has helped me develop strong multitasking, time-management, and communication skills. I am calm under pressure, adaptable, and always willing to help where needed. My background in leadership roles has taught me accountability and teamwork, which I believe are essential when working closely with parents.

Hobbies and other interests

In my free time, I enjoy volunteering at church, especially in the baby ministry, where I assist in caring for young children and creating a welcoming and nurturing environment. I also enjoy reading, listening to music, staying active, and spending quality time with family and friends.

I love learning new things, exploring different cultures, and engaging in activities that allow me to bond with children through play, creativity, and everyday routines. I am organized, thoughtful, and always open to new experiences that help me grow personally and professionally.
