Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I am a mature, caring, and responsible grandmother from South Africa with a lifelong love for children and family life. Having raised my own children and helped care for my grandson, I understand the importance of patience, kindness, consistency, and creating a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe and valued.

I am looking for a cultural exchange experience where I can become a trusted and positive part of a family's daily life. I enjoy reading, storytelling, arts and crafts, baking, outdoor activities, and helping children learn through everyday experiences. I am also happy to assist with light household duties related to the children and help maintain an organized home environment.

In addition to my childcare experience, I have extensive experience in hospitality, customer service, administration, and managing busy households. These skills have taught me flexibility, reliability, and the ability to remain calm and resourceful in a variety of situations.

I am currently completing my TEFL qualification and have a strong interest in education and language learning. I would be delighted to help children with English practice, homework support, and developing confidence in communication.

I value honesty, mutual respect, and open communication. My goal is not simply to be an au pair, but to become a supportive family member who contributes positively to your home while learning about your culture and sharing my own.
