Dear Host Family,

Hello future host family, I am very glad to write this letter. My name is Anastasia, I am 23 years old. I am from Russia. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. I live in Moscow.

My family consist of my mother and me. Also we have a cat. My mom is very kind and wise women. She works as an accountant. We have a good relationship and we always help each other. Also I have grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins. We are all very close. My relatives are very funny and energetic people. When everyone gets together, we like to talk about everything. My family fully supports my decision to be an Au Pair in the USA.

My favorite pastime is reading, cycling, swimming, yoga, traveling, baking, draw, playing board games, watching movies, spend time with my family and friends. I'm kind, friendly, organized, patient, positive, responsible, caring and neat person. I like to eat healthy food, and I don't eat meat and dairy.

I have a lot of experience with looking after children. In high school I often looked after my neighbor's kids. I have spent significant time caring for my younger cousins and worked as a babysitter for 2 families. The first family have 2 children. I looked after 5 years old girl and 11 years old boy. In the second family, I looked after a 7-month-old boy.

I like spend my time with children because they are loving, curious, open-hearted, fun and tender, they like to learn new things and discover the world around them. I had nice experience looking after children, we understand each other and had fun.
Currently I work as a nanny in 2 families. I take care of 2 boys, Leon is 18 months old and Timofey is 4 years old.

Leon is an energetic and curious kid. He likes to dance, running, play with cars and ball. I feed him, change diapers, read, walk and play with him, bathe and put him to sleep.
Timofey is funny, active and curious kid. He likes to draw, read, do crafts and play with trains. I pick him up from kindergarten, warm up his meal, we play together, learn letters and numbers, play hide and seek, do crafts, go to the playground.

My experience with Valeria was wonderful. She is smart, kind, active and creative girl. I took care of her from 5 to 6 years old, I picked her up from kindergarten or we just stayed home, I warmed up her meal, we played together, and I took her to the park for a walk or we played in the playground near her home. She is very funny, active, well-behaved and sociable girl. She likes to draw, read, do crafts, dance and play with her toys and friends.

My experience with Kirill: He is intelligent boy, I took care of him from 11 to 12 years old, he is thoughtful, curious, kind. He likes to study, read comics and fantasy books, to ride a bicycle, play volleyball and board games. I picked him up from school, helped him with homework. We played board games, active outside games, and went to museums, library and exhibitions.

My experiences with Alexander: I took care of him from 7 months old to 16 months old. I was very careful with him, I fed him with milk bottle and spoon, changed diapers, read, played with him and put him to sleep. Also I liked to dress him and took Alexander for a walk in his stroller. He is very happy, calm and sleepy baby.

The reason why I want to become an Au Pair is because I love spending my time with kids, take care of them, play with them and watch them grow. I’m willing to become your children's friend/big sister and share my love with them!
The second reason is that I want to immerse myself into a American culture. I’m really interested to see this country with my own eyes, talk to native speakers, make new friends, to get international experience in child care, improve my English language skills, to travel to the US and much more.

The Au Pair program will help me in my future professional life.
