I hope all is well with you. I appreciate that you took the time to read my letter.

My name is Rexy Ivy Yvonne, but you can call me Rexy. I am 23 years old and from the Philippines. You probably get a lot of letters like this from people who want to be your Au Pair, but I'm sure you won't regret reading about why I want to be your Au Pair.

I live with my mother, my 13-year-old brother, and my father. We are a family of four. Two dogs and two cats also live with us. Tagalog is my first and original language, but I also speak English and a few words of German. I just finished college at NORSU, which is here in our city. I have a bachelor's degree in education and a lot of experience taking care of children, especially those with special needs.

I usually watch cooking lessons in my free time and then learn how to make meals. Yes, it is very hard. But I really like learning new things and getting better at what I already know. I teach and watch over youngsters during the summer, and I show them that learning can also be fun. I was in charge of keeping them busy, and we had a lot of fun playing hide and seek, face painting, drawing, and other games.

I've been a babysitter for almost 2 years, so I know how to take care of kids. I have to watch to make financial resources, and it's been worth it since I graduated from college. I took care of a baby from 2 months to 10 months old and a 2-year-old kid for two different people. I fed them, gave them a bath, cleaned their rooms, and put them to bed. Aside from taking care of them, I do small jobs around the house when they are sleeping so that my employer's house is clean. For instance, I wash the dishes, sweep and mop the floor, do some laundry, and clean their rooms. I also do their shopping for them because they don't have time. It was fun. So, I wanted to be an Au-Pair so I could learn more about other countries. I also get to know some kids, and I love spending time with them and seeing how happy they are.

I've wanted to be an Au-Pair in another country for a few years. Also, the year I spend as an Au-Pair abroad is also a way for me to find myself. Also, one of my biggest goals is to live and work in another country.

I would love to be your next Au Pair because I love being around children. I'm ready, and I know that being a big sister to your children means you have to take care of them and that it won't always be fun. My calmness and patience will help me deal with more difficult scenarios, like when the kids are restless or won't listen to me. I expect to be tired the first few nights because taking care of kids all day may be tiring. But I'm sure I'll quickly get used to my new job and daily schedule and become a valuable addition to you.

I am very independent, and I don't take money from my parents because I know that hard work should be rewarded. That's why I work hard to get a job and show what I can do. I'm not a hard person to live with because I don't ask for much. I know that the house belongs to you, and I followed your rules. When something doesn't work right. I know what I can and can't do. I've never been away from home for a long time, but I'm used to going weeks or even years without seeing my parents, so I don't think I'll miss them too much.

I really want to know everything about you and your kids. I've only read a little bit so far, but what I've read sounds very interesting. I hope you like my letter, and I can't wait to hear from you.
