I come from a big, close-knit family where I'm the proud aunt to four nieces. Being around them, helping with their homework, playing games, comforting them when they're upset that has taught me patience, creativity, and how to genuinely connect with children at different ages and stages.
Beyond my own family, I've spent years volunteering in teaching children and working within an NGO school for adults for over 5 years, which gave me hands-on experience creating a safe, encouraging environment for kids and adults to learn and grow. I understand that every child is different, and I enjoy adapting how I teach and guide based on what each child needs.
Caregiving is also a big part of who I am. At home, I help care for my bedridden grandmother, supporting my mother in her daily care. This experience has strengthened my sense of responsibility, my attentiveness to others' needs, and my ability to stay calm and dependable even in demanding situations that qualities I bring into how I care for children as well.
I believe being an au pair is about more than supervision; it's about becoming a trusted, warm presence in a child's daily life that someone who shows up with consistency, kindness, and genuine care.
