Dear host family,
I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.
My name is Lycah. I am 24 years old and from Manila, Philippines . With my parents, Geo (47) and Meriam (48), my two sisters Juliana(22), Ghia (8) and my brother Kris (15), I am living in a house that is located in an area full of nature. My father works as a driver at a small firm, my mother works as a clerk.
My hobbies include playing badminton and biking( I know how to drive a car). I also love cooking and baking. I love going to the beach and taking a walk at parks (nature lovers).I would describe myself as a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I am trustworthy, organized, respectful, open-minded, responsible, kind, sweet and jolly person. I also love playing with kids because kids have a special place in my heart.I like spending time with my friends; they are – as well as my family – very important to me. Always trying to help, I’m always there for them if they need me.
At the moment, I work as a Sales Associate in a Multimedia Company.I enjoy this job very much, because I am able to bond with many of the customers or clients . I also work as a Shift Supervisor at Dunkin Philippines .
During the pandemic , I took care of the children of my aunt to support my college degree. I became very close to them and I cherish the time I have spent with them. When my sister and brother were younger, I also took care of him, when our mom was working. Through this time, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around, I can’t imagine a life without them.
The reason why I want to go to Europe as an Au Pair is that I want to get to know the way of life as well as different cultures. Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care of children. And of course, it would be great to improve myself as well.
I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you.
