Dear Host Family,

My name is Michelle. I am a 24-year-old, single, female. I come from a family of 6: My parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters. My father works as a civil engineer, and my mother is a full-time housewife.

I currently live in the Philippines and work as a nanny and a maid. Mornings start with helping the children in their clothes and getting them ready for the day, making lunch boxes, preparing breakfast, transporting the children to and from school, entertaining them with fun games and activities, helping them with their school homework, and supervising them. Making sure the children are always in a safe and happy environment. Keeping the house organised and in order includes tidying, cleaning, washing, drying, folding bedding and towels, and ironing clothes. Changing bed linens and towels, washing dishes, preparing and cooking meals, and organising closets. Grocery shopping. Taking care of 1 dog. Clean up after breakfast and dinner.
Regularly emptying wastebaskets and disposing of all rubbish.

I am taking care of Niana Eloise, 5 year-old and Jono Danielson, 7 year-old. They mean a lot to me. I am not only their big sister but also their good friend. That is the reason why I have always had a great relationship with children.

I am an open-minded, responsible, trustworthy, and warmhearted person who absolutely loves working with children and their family. I am full of energy and able to operate at all times. I am adaptable to varying schedules and household needs.

I can cook chicken or pork adobo, pinakbet (vegetable stew), sinigang (sour pork or shrimp soup), kare-kare, nilagang baboy (boiled pork soup), spaghetti, carbonara, mango graham, macaroni, fruit and buko salad. I know how to bake like chocolate cupcake, banana loaf bread, and chocolate cake.

I have a driver's license for a motorcycle, and I know how to ride a bicycle. I have 1 certificate in Child care basics: A beginner’s guide to safe, nurturing care and 1 certificate in First aid for infants and children: Home, school, and everyday emergencies.

I wish to be an Au pair in the EU because I would like to know about a new culture by experiencing it in everyday life, becoming part of a family and taking care of my host children, and learning what it is like to live in another country. And from my new host family's home, I am able to make minor excursions and major trips to get to know the rest of the country and perhaps even more of the EU.

My main expectation is that I will be treated with respect and kindness, I will treat your family utmost respect and full of kindness.
