Hello dear host family,

My name is Michael. I am 24 years old and I come from Manila, Philippines. I am writing to express my sincere interest in becoming your au pair and being part of your family.

I have a background in education, as I studied Bachelor of Education in college. During my practicum as a student teacher, I had the opportunity to work with children, including children with special needs. Through this experience, I learned how to be patient, attentive, and understanding when caring for children with different needs.

After college, I worked in the BPO industry where I was promoted to a Quality Analyst Coach. In this role, I coached and mentored 15–20 team members daily. This experience helped me develop strong communication skills, responsibility, and the ability to support and guide others with kindness and respect.

I grew up becoming independent at a young age, which taught me important values such as respect, empathy, and human decency. I consider myself responsible, open-minded, and caring. I am willing to help with childcare, daily routines, and light household tasks, and I always do my best to create a safe and positive environment.

Becoming an au pair is very important to me because I want to experience a new culture, improve my language skills, and build meaningful connections with a host family. I would love to share my culture with you while learning from yours.
