Introduction
My name is Ma. Jessica, and I am from the Philippines. I am very excited to introduce myself and share my strong interest in becoming your au pair. I am a responsible, caring, and patient person who truly enjoys spending time with children and supporting families in their daily life.
I have experience taking care of children, especially between the ages of 5–7, as I worked as a tutor. Through this experience, I learned how to guide children with their studies, encourage positive behavior, and create a safe, fun, and supportive environment. I enjoy helping children learn through play, reading stories, assisting with homework, and doing creative activities such as drawing and simple games.
More than just helping with daily routines, my goal as an au pair is to be a big sister to your children—someone they can trust, feel comfortable with, and look up to. I want to set a good example for them through kindness, patience, and respect. I truly wish to be part of their lives, and I hope they can also become a meaningful part of mine. I want them to remember me as someone who listens to them, understands their feelings, supports them, and encourages them to grow with confidence.
I have already graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and I consider myself organized, reliable, and adaptable. I value respect, open communication, and family connection, and I believe these are very important when living together and building a strong relationship with a host family.
Becoming an au pair is very meaningful to me because I would love to experience a new culture, improve my language skills, and build a genuine bond with my host family. I am excited about the opportunity to care for your children with love, dedication, and responsibility.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read my letter. I would be very happy to get to know your family better and answer any questions you may have. I truly hope to become a positive and loving presence in your children’s lives.
Warm regards,
Ma. Jessica
