Ich heiße Celyn und ich lerne gerade Deutsch. Mein Deutsch ist noch nicht perfekt, deshalb schreibe ich den Rest auf Englisch, damit wir uns besser verstehen!
I am a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Philippines with a heart for art, books, and family life. I am currently enrolled in German language classes (A1), which will finish in mid-July, with a visa appointment already booked! I am very excited to find a wonderful host family to join starting in September-October 2026 :))
In my life as a veterinarian, I’ve learned that patience, being perceptive, and being proactive are everything. Whether I'm caring for a patient or a household, I stay calm under pressure and take my responsibilities seriously. I am safety-conscious and dependable.
I'm also experienced in taking care of energetic toddlers and children with special needs, from my teachers entrusting me with their own. We spent a lot of our time playing their favourite video games, running around chasing each other in the open field, both helping tire them out and enrich them before bedtime, taking them out to shop, and eating at restaurants too! I've always been very mindful of children's privacy, and when I'm with them, my focus is entirely on engaging with them rather than my phone. I find we have much more fun when I'm in the moment :))
I’ve spent the last few years being very disciplined with my medical studies, and while I love science, I want to experience life outside the classroom. I want to immerse myself in a new culture, improve my German in real-life situations, and be part of a family where I can contribute while also discovering a more 'creative' side of myself before I start my next professional chapter!
