My name is Venus, I am 22 years old and I come from the Philippines. I am single and have no children. I studied Nursing in college, and although I have not yet graduated, my time as a student gave me valuable experience in clinical duties and community service. Through these experiences, I learned how to care for people with patience, responsibility, and compassion. I also had the chance to work with children in the community, which helped me develop a strong connection with them and a sense of joy in guiding, teaching, and caring for them.
I grew up in a close-knit Filipino family where values such as respect, kindness, and helping one another are very important. Because of this, I naturally enjoy supporting others and being dependable in daily life. I am used to helping with household chores like cooking simple meals, cleaning, and organizing. My background in nursing also gave me basic medical knowledge, which I believe is useful when caring for children.
I would like to be an au pair because I love spending time with children, helping them learn, and making them feel safe and cared for. I can assist with childcare, playtime, homework, and daily routines while also helping with light household tasks. I am flexible, hardworking, and always willing to learn new things that will make family life easier.
Another reason why I want this opportunity is because I want to learn more about other cultures, traditions, and languages. I already have some basic knowledge of German since l attended German classes here in the Philippines, but I stopped for a few months. I am excited to learn more about you, your language, and your culture, while also sharing my own Filipino traditions and values in return.
