Greetings from the Philippines!
How are you? I hope you are all well and happy.
My name is Rialyn, 23 years of age, single. Born and raised in Bayawan City, Negros Oriental, Philippines. I graduated last 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration majoring in Financial Management at one of the universities here in the Philippines. Amidst the pandemic, I was given the opportunity to work in one of the BPO companies here in the Philippines wherein it molded me to become a better version of myself. When my contract was about to end, I received a call from the company I worked for as an intern student if I was willing to work with them without hesitation I accepted the offer and started working with them last July 2021 up until now.
My family is a typical Filipino family. I have two older sisters both are married. My oldest sister has 2 daughters while the other one has two sons. My mom is a housewife and my dad is a fisherman. My family owns a small business that involves fishing. In my family, we’ve been traveling a lot especially when my dad got home for a long time. We usually spent our weekends on a trip to the beach or just a typical day like watching movies or playing cards at home.
During my spare time I usually spend it in a simple way, like visit some of my friends and relatives, playing with my nephews and nieces. I was the youngest in our family and growing up I didn’t experience having a little brother/sister not until my sisters got married and I was the one who take good care of their children while they are at work. I’ve always wanted to have a younger brother/sister since I was a kid and since I wasn’t given the chance to have one, babies are now my happy pill. We always go out with my nephews and nieces and play in the park, visit to the city boulevard and watch the sun sets and play at the play stations in malls. Sometimes when I go out with my friends, I bring them with me so they can also explore new places and not get bored in the house.
When I was in high school, I was also volunteer at a youth organization, it is a non-government organization here in the Philippines that handles cases of children who are physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually abused. Basically, our organization helps those children from childual abuse, and child trafficking and protects them from domestic abuse.
To be an aupair is my main focus in life right now, I want to travel, experience and explore life. In this way I can improve and mature more. New culture, new people, new language sounds amazing to me. I am confident that this would be a perfect fit for me, with my experiences of taking children (all ages) I can see myself thriving. I am looking forward to meeting all of you soon!
