Dear Host Family,

My name is John Aroon, but my family and close friends call me “Arie.” I am 23 years old and currently a final-year Physiology student taking a Bachelor’s degree. I am in the process of completing my OJT, which I will finish this coming May.

I have 8 years of experience living with and working closely for my employers, where I have been responsible for taking care of children as part of my daily life. I have cared for two children: a boy who is now 8 years old, whom I have been taking care of since he was 1 year old, and a girl who is now 12 years old and currently in Grade 7.

My responsibilities include preparing their meals, assisting with their school activities, organizing their daily routines, and making sure all their needs are properly taken care of. I am also actively involved in their school requirements and overall well-being.

Through these years, I have developed strong patience, responsibility, and a genuine love for children. I treat them as part of my own family and take pride in supporting their growth and development.

I am now seeking the opportunity to become an au pair in the Netherlands, where I hope to continue doing what I love while experiencing a new culture and becoming part of a warm and welcoming family.
