Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Jackilyn, and I am writing to introduce myself as an aspiring au pair who would love to become part of your family in Europe.

I am from the Philippines, where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Human Resource Development and Management. Through my studies, I learned the importance of empathy, responsibility, and good communication — skills that I know will be valuable as an au pair and a caring role model for your children.

Becoming an au pair has always been one of my dreams. I was inspired by some of my friends who are au pairs, and seeing their experiences made me realize how wonderful it is to enjoy life while learning about new cultures, meeting amazing people, and growing as a person. I’m excited about the chance to experience that journey myself.

I have experience caring for my younger cousins, aged 3 to 5 years old. Spending time with them has taught me patience, creativity, and how to create fun activities that help children learn and express themselves — from arts and crafts to storytelling and outdoor play. I love how children see the world with such curiosity and joy; their energy and happiness always inspire me to appreciate life more.

Art and creativity are a big part of who I am. I enjoy drawing, painting, and doing any kind of creative activity that allows self-expression. I also love cooking and would be delighted to share some of my favorite Filipino dishes with your family.

In my free time, I like exploring the outdoors, taking walks, discovering new places, or spending quiet moments at home reading or cooking. I’m also a huge Formula 1 fan— I love the excitement of every race, the teamwork, and the determination of the drivers.

As an au pair, I aspire to grow through self-discovery, cultural exchange, and meaningful relationships. I’m eager to learn your language, experience new things, and immerse myself in your country’s daily life and traditions. In return, I hope to share the warmth, culture, and values of the Philippines with your family.

Most of all, I hope to become not just a helper, but a big sister figure to your children — someone they can trust, play with, and learn from. I would be truly grateful for the opportunity to join your family, create meaningful memories together, and grow through this wonderful experience.
