Dear Host Family,
My name is Aubrey, I am 23 years old and I come from the Philippines. I am very excited about the opportunity to become an au pair in Europe and to begin this new journey with a welcoming family.
Although I don’t yet have experience as an au pair outside my country, I have gained valuable childcare experience here in the Philippines. I cared for my cousin from the time he was around 1 to 3 years old, and I also looked after my neighbor’s sons, ages 5 and 7, for about a month. These experiences taught me patience, responsibility, and how to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children.
I grew up in a big family of six — my parents, my three brothers, and me. In our household, we also live together with my cousins, a family of four with two young boys aged 5 and 9. Growing up in this lively environment surrounded by children has given me a natural sense of care, adaptability, and joy in spending time with kids.
I can help with light household chores such as cooking, laundry, and tidying, and I am happy to assist with meals and snacks. I enjoy playtime both indoors and outdoors, and I love engaging in creative activities with children. I am flexible, adaptable, and calm under pressure, and I take pride in being responsible, reliable, and organized. I am tidy and proactive around the house, fluent in English, and I can ride a bicycle.
Outside of childcare, I love traveling and adventure, spending time with family and friends, and I am a huge animal lover. My hobbies include going to the beach, going on walks, dancing, and playing sports. Being around children has always been a big part of my life, and I truly enjoy creating happy and meaningful moments with them.
