Dear Host Family,

My name is Princess Ashley , and I am 23 years old from the Philippines. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education, Major in Social Studies, and I can speak English, with a growing interest in learning more European languages. I was raised in a warm and supportive family that taught me the values of kindness, respect, and compassion principles that guide how I care for children and interact with others.

I am applying to become an Au Pair in Europe because I have a deep passion for cultural exchange, personal growth, and lifelong learning. I have long admired the diversity, history, and lifestyle of European countries, and I believe that immersing myself in a new culture will broaden my understanding of the world. Living with a host family would give me the chance to experience daily life in Europe, strengthen my language skills, and learn about family values and traditions different from my own.

My love for children began at a young age. While I was in high school, I babysat a 1-year old and a 3-years old which are my cousins as part of my way to support my studies.
I have cared for my younger brother and have been involved in church activities for children. I truly enjoy spending time with kids, playing games, reading stories, helping with homework as I can and engaging them in outdoor activities. I always strive to create a safe, positive, and happy environment where children can express themselves freely.

This early experience taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of being responsible and attentive to a child’s needs. Later, during my practice teaching as part of my education degree, It help me shaped my interest in understanding cultures and human connections. It has helped me appreciate diversity, respect differences, and approach every situation with sincerity and open mindedness qualities that I believe are essential when living and working abroad.


In the future, I aspire to build an International career where I can apply my skills in education, childcare, or hospitality. I believe that the Au Pair program will play a vital role in my personal and professional development, allowing me to grow into a more independent, responsible, and culturally aware individual.
