Dear Host Family,
?My name is Isabela, I am 22 years old, and I am excited to find my first host family for this amazing cultural exchange journey. Becoming an au pair is something I have been looking forward to because it combines two things I truly enjoy: caring for children and experiencing a new culture while becoming part of a family's daily life.?I would describe myself as kind, patient, responsible, and caring. I enjoy spending time with children, helping them learn, playing with them, and making them feel safe and supported. I believe every child is unique, and I always do my best to understand their needs and encourage them with kindness and positivity.?
Although this will be my first experience as an au pair, I do have childcare experience with my two niece from the time they were newborns until now. They are currently 4 years old and 1.5 years old, and I still help my sister take care of them whenever she needs me.
My responsibilities have included feeding them, preparing bottles and simple meals, changing diapers, bathing and dressing them, putting them down for naps, comforting them when they cried, playing educational games, reading stories, and keeping them entertained in a safe and caring environment. As they have grown, I have also helped teach them basic routines, encouraged good manners, and supported their learning through play.
Taking care of my nieces has taught me to be patient, responsible, attentive, and flexible. I understand that every child has different needs, and I always do my best to make them feel loved, safe, and happy. This experience has strengthened my passion for working with children and inspired me to become an au pair, where I hope to provide the same level of care and support to my future host family.
