My name is Ellea Terry A. Palomo, 23 years old and I am a recent graduate from Carlos Hilado Memorial State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science. My studies deeply focused on human behavior, societies, and relationships—honing my communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills. Academic discipline is very important to me in fact, I am proud to say that I am a co-author of a historical research book published through our university titled Bahándi: Reminiscing History Through Structures. Beyond my studies, I am someone who values community, culture, and deep family connections.

My primary motivation for becoming an Au Pair is rooted in love and growth. On a personal level, I want to support my family here in the Philippines. I want to help fund my younger brother’s education so that my parents can finally relax and enjoy their lives, knowing we are taken care of. While my parents have never forced this responsibility on me, it is my sincere dream to give back to them. Furthermore, I view the Au Pair program as something much deeper than just a job or a basic cultural exchange. To me, it is a beautiful opportunity to learn how to love, accept, and understand one another by sharing different perspectives on life. I am eager to learn from your family’s lifestyle, and I would be honored to share my own culture and heart with you in return.

I have been deeply involved in raising and guiding my younger brother since the day he was born, teaching him how to grow into a respectful and loving person. I also absolutely adore children. I love the innocence of babies and the playful energy of toddlers. Whenever I spend time with my 6 and 7-year-old nephews, I fully immerse myself in their world, so much so that they call me their favorite aunt. Our house is always filled with laughter, and I want to bring that same joy, safety, and positive guidance to your children as they grow.

I am highly qualified for this position because I offer a unique combination of academic insight and practical life skills:

•Childcare & Household Experience: Having actively helped raise my brother and regularly caring for my young nephews, I am entirely comfortable managing daily routines, preparing meals, creating engaging educational playtime, and keeping children safe and supervised.

•Strong Educational Foundation: My degree in Social Science has given me a deep understanding of child psychology and human development. This allows me to communicate patiently, handle tantrums calmly, and encourage your children's emotional and intellectual growth with the right approach.

•Adaptability & Clean Medical Background: Through my university and community outreach, I have successfully participated in intensive dental health missions and local volunteering programs. I am fully health-literate, highly organized, and used to keeping environments clean, hygienic, and safe. My experience working alongside professionals has made me adaptable, highly responsible, and capable of handling emergencies with a clear mind.
