Hello! My name is Micah, and I am a 26-year-old from the Philippines. Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile and learn more about me. I am truly excited about the opportunity to become your au pair and, hopefully, a part of your family.

I graduated with a double degree in Accounting. Although my academic background is in accounting, I have always had a special love for children. One of my biggest dreams is to become a preschool teacher because I enjoy helping children learn, grow, and become confident in themselves. Becoming an au pair is a wonderful opportunity for me to gain more experience caring for children while experiencing a new culture and creating meaningful memories with a loving family.

I have experience taking care of children because I helped raise my younger sibling and younger cousins. Whenever my mom or my aunt was away, I was the one they trusted to babysit. I enjoyed preparing their meals, playing games with them, helping them with simple school activities, reading stories, and making sure they were always safe and happy. These experiences taught me to be patient, responsible, caring, and attentive to children's needs.

I would also be happy to help your children with their homework, encourage them in their learning, and spend quality time doing fun and educational activities together. Since becoming a preschool teacher is my dream, I genuinely enjoy interacting with children and watching them learn something new every day.

I am also an animal lover and very comfortable with pets. At home, we have 10 cats and 5 dogs, so I am used to feeding them, playing with them, and helping take care of them. If your family has pets, I would be more than happy to care for them as well.

One of the reasons I want to become an au pair is because I want to experience life in a different country and immerse myself in a new culture. I believe that cultural exchange is a beautiful experience where both the host family and the au pair can learn from one another. I would love to share Filipino traditions, food, and values with your family while learning about your culture, customs, and way of life.

English is my second language, and I am comfortable communicating in English. I also look forward to learning your native language because I believe it is one of the best ways to connect with people and become part of the family.

In my free time, I enjoy singing, playing the ukulele, playing volleyball, traveling, walking in the park, and spending time outdoors. My favorite color is pink because it reminds me to stay cheerful, kind, and optimistic. I enjoy activities that encourage creativity and fun, and I would love to share these hobbies with your children.

I am also responsible when it comes to household chores. My parents taught me from a young age how to cook, clean the house, do the laundry, and stay organized. I understand that being an au pair means supporting the family, and I am happy to help with light household tasks related to the children and daily family life.

I would describe myself as caring, patient, trustworthy, hardworking, respectful, and open-minded. I always try to bring positive energy wherever I go, and I believe that kindness, honesty, and respect are the foundation of a happy home.
