My name is Oyinlola, but you can call me Lola! I’m a 23-year-old young woman from Nigeria with a big heart, an even bigger smile, and a strong passion for learning, helping, and connecting with others, especially children. I'm writing to you with so much excitement about the opportunity to join your family as an au pair and become a caring, reliable presence in your home.
Growing up in a close-knit family has taught me the value of love, patience, and responsibility. I’ve always been surrounded by younger cousins, and I’ve naturally taken on a "big sister" role; helping with homework, planning fun indoor games, assisting with chores, and simply being someone they could rely on and talk to. These experiences sparked my love for caregiving and have stayed with me ever since.
Professionally, I have experience managing projects and working with children and communities through education-focused programs. I’m organized, dependable, and enjoy planning creative activities that keep children engaged—whether that’s reading, storytelling, dancing, singing, or making crafts. I also love cooking and would be happy to share some delicious Nigerian meals with your family!
In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, dancing, writing, and learning about different cultures. I find joy in the little things and believe laughter, kindness, and mutual respect can go a long way in building strong relationships. I’m very open-minded and excited to experience daily life in a new country, explore its traditions, and improve my language skills along the way.
As your au pair, I hope to become more than just an extra pair of hands—I want to be a dependable part of your family, someone your children can trust, have fun with, and learn from. I understand the importance of creating a safe, happy, and balanced environment, and I’m committed to showing up every day with care, compassion, and a sense of responsibility.
I’m currently available to start as soon as possible and am open to long-term or short-term stays, depending on what suits your family best. I do not smoke, I’m very respectful of boundaries and routines, and I’m excited to integrate into your family's lifestyle.
