My name is Anuoluwapo, I am from Nigeria, and I am very excited to introduce myself to your family. I am a warm, caring, responsible, and creative young woman who loves spending time with children and helping them learn new things.
For the past three years, I have been working in Egypt as a nanny, caring for children of different ages. My daily responsibilities included preparing their meals, helping them with homework, organizing playtime, keeping their rooms tidy, and making sure they were always safe and happy. Through this experience, I learned the importance of patience, communication, and understanding the individual needs of each child.
I truly enjoy working with children because they have so much energy and joy. I love encouraging them to be curious, creative, and confident. In my time as a nanny, I often used creative activities like crochet, crafts, and storytelling to keep the children entertained and to help them learn through play. I’m also skilled in punch needle embroidery, which is a fun and relaxing activity I would be happy to teach to your children if they are interested. These kinds of activities help children improve their focus, creativity, and hand skills while having fun.
I am happy to help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping or errands, and pet care if needed. I am also used to helping children with their morning and bedtime routines and making sure they feel cared for and supported throughout the day.
As a person, I am calm, honest, and respectful. I enjoy learning about new cultures, trying different foods, and exploring new environments. Becoming an au pair is a dream opportunity for me because it allows me to combine my love for childcare with my desire to learn and grow through cultural exchange.
I speak English well and I am always open to learning a new language from my host family. I am flexible and reliable, and I take my duties seriously while keeping a positive attitude.
