Dear future host family, I hope you are having a wonderful time in all aspects of your life, it is a pleasure to greet you.
My name is Daniela, I am 24 years old, I live in the city of Toluca, State of Mexico, I live with my parents and my two younger brothers, they are still going to university, one is studying dentistry and the other one is studying engineering, I also have another sister but she doesn't live with us because she recently moved to another city for work reasons, she is a math teacher. I finished my university degree more than a year ago, I studied languages and if I had another life I would study the same thing again, because I really love my degree, languages and linguistics are very interesting topics for me.
On the other hand, I have several hobbies, for example I like some sports like running in the parks, while I contemplate nature and listen to music with my headphones, I also like soccer, riding a bicycle, playing chess and reading, I like reading about almost everything, for example about philosophy, art, linguistics, history. I also like novels and children's stories or Disney movies. I have also tried to encourage reading with my students by encouraging them to read something that they feel attracted to and that they love.
Stories have been my best ally because I have worked as a teacher, and I am sure that learning always has to be enjoyable for the teaching-learning process to have satisfactory results.
Normally I always try to put a lot of effort into my work because for me the fact that my students learn and feel comfortable with my classes it makes me feel good about myself, it is very gratifying when the parents of my students congratulate me for being a good teacher, that motivates me a lot to continue evolving as a teacher and as a person.
All my life I have been surrounded by children, because I am the older sister, so since I was a teenager I helped my brothers with their homework, played with them, sometimes bathed and combed their hair or dropped them off at school. Also, since I was a teenager, my acquaintances have hired me as a babysitter and I have enjoyed all the jobs I have had because it is easy for me to work with children, besides I don't know why but naturally the kids love me. I consider that each of the jobs that I had as a nanny throughout my life have given me experience and I have learned new things from each of them. After having fulfilled my dream of being an Au Pair, I would like to be able to continue traveling, perhaps somewhere in Europe and continue studying.
