To my next Host Family
Hi my name is Loretta, I’m 18 years old, I’m Mexican and I live in Monclova Coahuila, I have 2 sisters and we live with my mom, in June i graduated from high school. All my life I was in the same school, when I graduated from high school they gave me the loyalty award for having been there for 12 years, and La Salle was my best experience because in addition to preparing me academically they prepared me to be a good person and a great athlete.
When I was in high school we had to do a community service and I created the ´´smiles´´ group, which consisted of bringing food to hospitals for people of all ages, but especially children, and I loved it because every time we arrived we were all greeted with a smile
I want to be an Au Pair because I know that it is a very special opportunity to meet new people, new cultures, new languages, new places and many more things, also that I love playing with children, I want to make the children I take care of very happy, that they feel very safe with me and that they come to love me as if I were their older sister. I would love it if my host family could see me as another member of the family and not as the nanny.
I work in a children's show and I love it because I can make many children happy because I dress up as a princess, a superhero, a barbie or any cartoon for children. In the summers I worked in a summer camp, there I had around 42 children in my care for 4 weeks, and it is a very cool experience because all my children loved me very much and I loved them. All my life I have been surrounded by children, because I am the oldest of my sisters and of all my cousins, I am 18 years older than my youngest cousin and 7 years older than my oldest, my sisters and I are the oldest and even so I am 6 years older than my younger sister, the only cousin older than me is 2 years older than me.
I consider myself fun, social, positive, smiling person who loves to travel, be with his family and friends, discover new things, watch movies and listen to music. I love play volleyball in my free time, it’s my favorite sport and when i was in high school i was the captain of my team. My favorite singer is Manuel Turizo, his music is too happy and joyful and my dream is to be able to go to a concert of his and be in the front row, thanks to the fact that I always play his music my mom and my sisters now love his music too.
Coming back from my experience as an au pair I will study at the university but I still don't know which career I will decide on, I really like psychology because I have always liked to know why people have certain behaviors or why they react like that to different situations, but I also like it a lot the communications career because since I was little I always wanted to be famous and be on TV
My English and my pronunciation can be a little bad at first but it's just what I get used to because I understand English a lot but speaking it gets a little complicated for me. In the summer camp I had 6 children who spoke English and I understood myself very well with them, only when I spoke it it was a bit complicated for me but I always understood them.
