Hi future family!

My name is Mina Parra, l'm 18 years old, and I am Mexican. I live in Los Mochis Sinaloa with my mom Carina, and my little brother Fernando. My dad' s name is Fernando too, he lives in Hermosillo Sonora, a city at the north of the country. Right know l'm studying my last semester In high school. I go to school in the morning and at the afternoon I work at ChillyPops, a snacks and desserts place.
Since l'm a little kid I hove really enjoyad working with children. My first work ever that involved children was in a kindergarten as a teachers assistant. AII of my summers since 2018 I’ve worked in a summer-camp at Hermosillo, where my dad lives. When I found the job I completely fell in love with it, the activities, the children, and my co-workers. It’s a really lovely and fun environment. In there, I work with kids that go from the age of 5 years old to 12 years old. I like to call them "my crías" which in Spanish means "my children" but a little bit more silly. That’s because, I see them and take care of them as if they were my one kids. I'm her friend, and teacher. When I don't work there I help my family with my little cousins and nephews, I also take care of the children of friends of the family and neighbors. I don't really see it as a job, I see it more as experience, and learning. Is a two side ways thing, I learn form the kids, and they learn f rom me. I truly think they s+ay with a part of me, and I take a par+ of them too. Every k1d I've worked with has changed even the tinniest bit of myself, every child is different and each one of them hove something new to show me. We both grow and have fun at the same time.
I want to be an Au Pair first of all, because of my love for children. Second, because I want to improve my english skills, and I want to experience being away from my family, to gain my Independence and maturity. I choose these program because, one of my step sisters has already gone in an Au Pair experience and she loved it! She told me all of her experiences with her host family, the friends, and bonds she made. I knew I had to experience that myself. My plans when I come back from my Au Pair experience is to study the university with my dad at Hermosillo, Sonora. I want to study a degree in finances, in the area of global business. These experience is going to help me in a way a to grow as a person and I learn how to face life by myself, without my parents taking me by the hand.
