Hello my name is Alina, I am 22 and from Kyrgyzstan. I have plenty experience working with kids would like to continue working in this field and improve my skills.

I love kids and get along with them very well. I have worked with kids with speech impairments, and helped them to launch speech, gain useful life skills. Moreover, when children start to improve it is something magical. Educating and sharing my knowledge with teenagers was something fresh for me, you can learn new things from children and learn something new about yourself. Besides that, I love traveling and learning new cultures and gaining new knowledge. I think the USA has one of the most modern approaches in working with special children, and au pair is a great opportunity to combine everything. I want to improve my skills and see the difference in approaches, meet new people, learn the culture and acquire new values

I studied to be a counseling psychologist; during my studies, my knowledge helped me to see the developmental divergence in my younger brother. The first time I did an internship at the center for children with the autism spectrum, children I worked with had multifunctional autism, their age ranged from 5 to 12 years old, we worked with the ABA program. I worked there for 1 semester about 160 hours, using behavioral analysis techniques. Later, I applied the acquired knowledge to my brother, he turned out to have a sensory allele, he was then 5 years old. I took him under my care, we started studying and tried to learn the first words, he hated swimming, did not play with others, I applied a behavioral approach and we worked more than 5 months, more than 1800 hours. During this time, he started speaking and stopped being afraid of water, began to coe responsibility I had with my brother, it was impossible to combine my studies; so I had to leave my studies and started working in the kindergarten. I worked in a kindergarten with children with special needs aged 3, 4 years 600 hours. In kindergarten, my brother began to communicate more and strengthen useful skills. We worked about 1000 hours at the age of 6 years. Then I tried to work without any special needs as a babysitter for two children, 3 years old Aidar and 7 years old Nurbakyt, for about 600 hours. In 2021, my brother went to a regular school in the 1st grade. Now he is in the second grade, he is one of the best students in the class. Later I worked with different children, most of all with children who had difficulties with speech or don’t speak at all.
In general, I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. I looked after 2 brothers and a sister since my childhood till this day.

I love watching movies and series, especially Friends. I like to make handicrafts, origami or something creative. I love computer games. I like to travel and see something new, cook and read books.
