Hello, my dear host family!
My name is Arina. I'm 20 years old. I live in an Asian country - Kyrgyzstan.
I have a small family, my parents and a younger brother. Like everyone else, I studied at school and university. From the age of 13 to 18, I was professionally engaged in swimming, was part of the national team. After I finished my sports career, I decided to work with children to pass on my knowledge to them.
I really love kids.
My experience of working with children began when I had a younger brother. My parents worked hard, so I took care of my brother. I helped him get ready for school, prepared snacks for him, took him to school, and then picked him up. After school, I helped him do his homework, after we had fun playing games together.
As I got older, I helped my relatives take care of the children, in my free time. My nephews love to spend time with me, and so do I. They are 5 and 6 years old. My duties are cooking, walking with them, playing, bathing and putting children to bed. I also teach them to read and write.
When I turned 18, I was invited to work at a sports club, as a swimming coach. In two years I have accumulated more than 1000 hours of work with children. The age of the children is different: from 1 year to 15 years. All children are also very different: calm, hyperactive, sociable, withdrawn, frightened, special children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. I work individually. My duties include meeting children, dressing them up, training them, teaching them to swim, playing games with them, communicating, instilling a love of sports.
I also have groups of 5-10 children. It's not easy working with so many kids at the same time, but I did it and I like it!
I like to help children learn something new for them and pass on my knowledge to them.
About me, I am a sociable, positive, patient and active person. I like to play sports, spend time with friends and travel. I also love pets, especially cats. I have a driver's license, driving experience is small, but I like to drive a car.
I have a lot of skills and ideas. Your children will never be bored with me.
I wish to become an aupair because I’m fond of children and taking care of them first of all. I like to travel, and I want to have a new experience in living abroad, communicating with the new interesting people in the USA. I want to learn about American culture and traditions. I also want to improve my English skills.
I will be a great helper and a good friend for you and your children!
