My name is Cicily, and I come from a loving and close-knit family in Kenya. Growing up as the firstborn taught me to be caring, patient, and responsible. From an early age, I helped take care of my younger siblings, which developed my love for children and my ability to support others with kindness and understanding.
I would describe myself as warm, calm, and cheerful. I enjoy bringing positive energy into every environment and doing my best to make people feel comfortable and supported. I love spending time with children—listening to them, helping them learn, and creating moments that make them feel happy and safe. I believe children grow best when they are surrounded by love, respect, and consistency, and I would love to be part of a family that values those same things.
I have experience caring for children of different ages, from toddlers to school-aged kids. I like reading stories, helping with homework, playing games, drawing, and organizing creative activities. I’m patient and understanding when children feel emotional or tired, and I always try to comfort them gently. I believe every child is unique, so I always adapt to their personality and needs.
I also enjoy helping around the house. I can do light housekeeping such as laundry, cleaning, organizing, and preparing simple meals. I enjoy cooking and learning new recipes, and I would be happy to share a few traditional Kenyan dishes while learning your favorite family meals. I like keeping things tidy and peaceful, as I believe a well-organized home helps everyone feel relaxed.
I want to become an au pair in Europe because I love learning about new cultures and languages. I’m especially excited to experience European family life, traditions, and festivals. Living with your family would give me the chance to learn your way of life while also sharing a bit of my own culture and values. I believe cultural exchange helps us grow as people and makes the world more connected and understanding.
I am an honest, reliable, and open-minded person. Families I’ve supported before describe me as responsible, respectful, and caring. I take my duties seriously, but I also bring warmth and humor to daily routines. I’m flexible, adaptable, and always willing to help wherever needed—whether it’s with children’s routines, household tasks, or family activities.
In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, reading, and going for walks in nature. I also love creative work like drawing and crafts, and I enjoy learning new skills that help me grow personally and professionally. I like spending quiet moments reflecting and staying positive, because I believe that kindness and gratitude make life brighter.
I am available to start from October 2025 and can stay for 12 to 24 months. I am open to working mornings, afternoons, and evenings depending on your needs. I’m comfortable helping with pets and caring for children under two years old if needed.
