Dear Host Family,

My name is Stella Faith, and I am a 22-year-old from Kenya. I recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Public Relations. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I truly appreciate the opportunity to introduce myself and share why I would love to become your au pair.

I come from a close-knit family where I learned the importance of kindness, respect, responsibility, and helping others from a young age. Growing up, I often cared for younger children in my family and community, which taught me patience, compassion, and how rewarding it is to support children's growth and happiness. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children—playing with them, helping with homework, reading stories, encouraging creativity, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and understood.

I would describe myself as caring, honest, hardworking, calm, and adaptable. I take my responsibilities seriously and always do my best to create a positive environment wherever I am. I enjoy learning new things, meeting new people, and embracing different cultures. In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, taking walks, cooking, watching educational content, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Becoming an au pair is much more than travelling abroad for me. It is a chance to become part of a new family, experience German culture from everyday life, improve my German language skills, and grow personally while supporting your family. I believe cultural exchange is one of the best ways to understand the world, and I would be honoured to share my Kenyan culture and traditions with you while learning yours.

I understand that caring for children requires trust, patience, and consistency. If you choose me as your au pair, I will always prioritize your children's safety, happiness, and well-being. I am willing to help with childcare, prepare simple meals, assist with homework, play educational games, accompany the children to school or activities when needed, and help with light household duties related to the children. I am respectful of family routines and always willing to learn how you prefer things to be done.
