My name is Lydia and I am a warm, responsible and caring young lady from Kenya who truly enjoys spending time with children. I am very excited about the opportunity to become an Au Pair and be part of a loving family while sharing cultures, learning new experiences and supporting children in their daily growth and development.

I have experience caring for children of different ages, especially through my involvement in teaching at Sunday school. This role has helped me develop patience, creativity and strong communication skills when working with young minds. I enjoy helping children learn new things, guiding them with kindness and creating a safe and positive environment where they can feel comfortable and confident.

I am naturally friendly, calm and organized. I understand the importance of routines in a child’s life such as preparing for school, helping with homework, playtime, meals and bedtime. I also enjoy storytelling, drawing, outdoor walks, simple games and activities that support both learning and fun. I believe children grow best in an environment filled with encouragement, structure and joy.

Becoming an Au Pair is also an opportunity for me to learn about your culture, improve my language skills and build meaningful relationships. I am open minded, respectful and willing to adapt to your family’s lifestyle and parenting style. I value honesty, cooperation and mutual understanding. I am ready to help with light household tasks related to the children and to support your family wherever needed.

Safety and trust are very important to me. I take responsibility seriously and always aim to be dependable and supportive. My goal is not only to assist with childcare but also to become a positive role model and a caring big sister figure to your children.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, creating simple crafts and spending time with friends and family. I am also eager to explore new places, learn new skills and grow as a person through this experience.
